1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScanRivals ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ScanRivals provides automated competitive intelligence monitoring and reporting. We monitor publicly available information from competitor websites, job boards, advertising platforms, and social media to generate intelligence reports.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with Starter-level access. No credit card is required. After the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.

5. Billing and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) harass, threaten, or harm any person; (c) submit malicious URLs or attempt to exploit the Service; (d) resell or redistribute reports without permission; (e) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

We collect and monitor publicly available data only. We do not access private or password-protected content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by ScanRivals. Reports generated for your account are licensed for your internal business use.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
